Whilst on land, the lakefront is a glorious place to walk at any time of day. Away from the lake, there are hiking and mountain bike routes through scenic countryside, a golf course (4 minutes) and horseriding.

There are many excellent restaurants and cafés nearby, and for self-catering, Toscolano’s weekly market (Thursday morning) provides excellent local produce to cook at home.

Lovers of art and history can visit the famous “Vittoriale degli Italiani” home of Gabriele D’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera and the new Salò museum called "MU SA”.
